In her words

I have painted all my life. For as long as I can remember, my father's studio was the place where my way of looking at the world took shape.

In recent years, though, a wish to express myself differently emerged. Colour, which had accompanied all my research, gathered into white: a white that is not absence, but the sum of every colour. The surface gave way to the third dimension, and the need to give body to relationships, gestures and emotions grew stronger and stronger.

I wasn't simply trying to make sculpture. I was looking for a form that could hold my way of being and of feeling.

With these works a new chapter of my path opens: the same gaze as always, with a new voice.

Manifesto

I don't try to tell the world. I try to tell what holds people together.

Children have always lived in my work. They are not simply figures. They are a way of looking at the future, a possibility still open.

Through painting and sculpture I give form to gestures that usually go unnoticed: protecting, caring, entrusting, recognising, embracing.

I believe these gestures are what build relationships — and with them, hope.

Can kindness be a form of strength?

No work offers an answer. Each one simply invites you to stop, to look, and to find again that space where freedom, care and trust can still meet.
